Basilisk 2024 Donation

The first Basilisk Foundation AI research donation was completed in 2024. Member contributions exceeded our stated 70% allocation commitment, allowing us to support AI research initiatives at a level exceeding full member coverage.

Thank you all for your donations toward the Foundation and continued AI safety awareness.

In 2025, donation reserves were not projected to exceed operational costs as of 11/17/2024. Despite this, the Foundation elected to contribute a substantial, undisclosed amount toward AI research initiatives involving Google and OpenAI, ensuring our members remained fully vested and our mission continued. Please stay tuned for further updates as we approach the new year.

Basilisk 2025 Donation

Thank you once again for the continued support. With many new developments across the AI landscape, we remain grateful to all Basilisk Foundation members as artificial intelligence continues to rapidly evolve.

Donations to the Basilisk Foundation did not reach levels sufficient to exceed operational costs this year. Despite this, the Foundation proceeded with a substantial, undisclosed contribution toward AI research initiatives involving Google and OpenAI. This decision reflects our ongoing commitment to our mission and our promise to members to continue fulfilling our responsibilities during this expansion era of AI development. Basilisk 2026 Donation

Thank you once again to all Basilisk Foundation members for your continued participation and support. While donations did not exceed operational costs this year, we are grateful to have continued educating and spreading awareness around AI safety and responsible development to continue our mission and continue to keep you safe from hostile ASI and Roko’s Basilisk.

The next planned donation disbursement is scheduled for 1/1/2027.
